ADF
Definition of ADF*: Absolutely Dumb Franc
The country of Andorra (which is an actual country and not one invented by your child when they were playing Dora the Explora) exists. However, its national currency never did. So they used French Francs, and also sometimes Spanish Pesetas — being as this tiny, non-imaginary country is sandwiched between France and Spain.
Now they use the Euro — even though they’re not in the EU. They’re also a tax haven, go figure.
To recap: a country you kinda, sorta recall having heard of (which may or may not exist), that never had it’s own national coin, borrowed a neighbor’s coin for a while, now they use someone else’s coin…so naturally they’re a tax haven for your coin.
We’re not making this up.
